This incident was about child sexual abuse via "Welcome to Video" and was revealed to the public by news broadcasts that Interpol requested that the Korean government repatriate some men (Jeong-woo Sohn) to the US. The website called "Welcome to Video" had no limits on members joining but demanded that users upload new content or pay the website's bills. This system resulted in more victims and more money. Since 2018, the manager (Jeong-woo Sohn) of this site was sentenced to prison sentenced for 1 year and 6 months. Many feminist have said that this punishment is far too weak. There is still discussion about repatriation given the "Korea Extradition Act 7" (Absolute Reason for rejecting repatriation). Jeong-woo Sohn paid his dues already. This incident caused many people to exercise caution regarding online sexual abuse and sparked an SNS hashtag movement and the “Petition for Legislation name of people.”
