The Equal Opportunities Commission is a statutory body that implements the Sex Discrimination Ordinance (SDO), the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (DDO), the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance (FSDO), and the Race Discrimination Ordinance (RDO) in Hong Kong. The Commission works towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex, marital status, pregnancy, disability, family status, and race. It also aims to eliminate sexual harassment and harassment and vilification on the grounds of disability and race. It promotes the equality of opportunities between men and women and between persons with and without disability irrespective of family status and race.
